City, Village, and Township Revenue Sharing Program

City, Village, Township Revenue Sharing Program
Earlier this decade, the legislature discontinued the statutory revenue sharing program for local governments and created a new program called the City Village, and Township Revenue Sharing (CVTRS) program, which is open to those communities that were eligible for statutory revenue sharing. Eligible communities are required to meet the following requirements to receive the amount allocated to it under the EVIP:
  • Creation of a Citizen's Guide to Local Government Financials
  • Creation of a Performance Dashboard
  • Creation of a Two Year Budget Projection
  • Creation of Debt Schedule of all outstanding debt
Quincy will receive a total of $58,709 in the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year if the requirements are submitted by the due dates.
